Having previously refreshed the signage on their other two premises in Liverpool back in 2016, we were again contacted by LMA in July 2020 with an opportunity to price for a large signage project. LMA were taking on the majority of the units on the 1st floor of the Met Quarter, Liverpool which was to be the location of their new campus, dance, performing arts and music studios.

Following surveys, drawings and submission of costs, we were thrilled to be approved and to receive the order and join LMA on this exciting journey.

After subsequent meetings with the client and their architect, we produced a prototype of the signage to ensure that what we were supplying met with their approval and overall outlook, which was a modern take on the retro style cinema and stage signage.

Initially we manufactured 13 illuminated fascia signs and 8 illuminated projecting signs, but as the project progressed there was a requirement for additional vinyl graphics, vinyl directional signage, as well as a significant amount of orange window tint along all the studios and office windows. We also produced some Contravision graphics on the external windows.

Installation of the signs began early in October and completed towards late October as the units became ready to accept the signage. The additional vinyl and window tint being completed early in November once the new glazing had been installed. In order to complete the project within the desired timeframe we were required to be flexible to accommodate the various shop fitters and contractors on site who we were working alongside with.

LMA are now fully operational in their new premises with students returning, and we are honoured to have supplied what we believe is ‘Fantastic looking Signage!’.
