History
Often referred to in the north west as The Liverpool sign company, Benson Signs was founded in 1969 by Chris Benson as a sole proprietorship, becoming a Limited Company in 1974.
1989
New premises
We signed the contract with the first investor
By the mid 1980’s the Company was firmly established as a leader using high technology sign production. The Company moved to new premises in the northern docks area of Liverpool in 1989.
2022
A new era
In 2022 the company was sold to LPW group allowing Chris to retire after 53 years of service.
Benson Signs’ continues to thrive under new ownership whilst retaining the knowledge and experience of all of its long-serving employees.
